Whew, it's finally finished. In the pic, you can see the initial design rendering, and the saber itself once I built it. My wife actually helped design it, and all the building and wiring was done by myself. The blade is beautiful when lit, and these pics don't do it much justice.

Anyway, there's no photoshopping done on these pics.

And your wife is lettinh you post all these sexy pictures, or does she not know about them? Anyway, nice lightsaber, I actually have a sith costume which is based of the darth maul costume. It cost me $150 in total.

Is the blade of this Saber made of Polycarbonate plastic?

If so, is this a Cylinder or a tube (hollowed out in the middle)?

I have made my own however do not have the electronics yet, and only have a cylinder of polycarbonate..

sick stuff man, I myself am looking into making one, and never concisedered an LED .. sooo simplee haha :D as for the making of the handle what tools did you use? I'm thinking of using a Lathe and a Milling Machine
