This is one of two pieces of art I did in an art trade, and I had a blast doing them.

The SH series has been my favorite since its beginning, with SH2 being my personal favorite of the bunch. That being said, I've been a HUGE PH fan for years, and finally I believe I've done a piece of him that does a bit of justice to his badassery.

Note, I didn't intend this to look exactly like PH. With the movie coming in two weeks, I wanted to do a "fusion" of the two versions. In the background, I included a lot of symbolism (which I'll leave to you to figure out), along with elements from the Fukuro and Ki-No-Ko videos.

Also, this is the first time in nearly 3 years that I've done a "gritty" background, so I'm pleased that I haven't lost my touch with those textures, even if they did take a long time to fine-tune.

Enough of my rambling. Enjoy!

Well anyway, I know you've submitted this a while back, but I kept them in my messages so I would be able to comment on them later :)

First of all... damn. Just... damn. The attention to details in this piece is astonishing, from the pyramid to the background. You really went all the way with this. The textures you used are breathtaking, especially with the hole before PH (I think that was in the Fukuro video, right? ) and the tiles are great. The perspective is well used and there doesn't seem to be any problems with it. Lord knows tiles in perspective can be a pain ;)

Heh, thanks very much for commenting. I was kinda confused, myself, why no one had commented on it.

Yeah, those textures were a monster (no pun intended), but as of late, that's become one of my favorite stages of CG'ing. If you didn't see, I also did another SH piece with Valtiel. Both of these were my part of an art trade with CuteLucca from SHF. Hehe, her part of the art trade was a custom PH movie figure. It now stands on my desk by my computer, and I worship it every day. :)

OOooo i vaguely played the SH games with a small crack at 'The room' or whatever it was called....twas freaky. This pyramid head thing is creeepy and intriguing, tell me more^_^

For the actual drawing itself, wow! Such detail and the figure is amazing. i love the pyramid contraption and the whole colour scheme is so creepy and awesome. O_O love!

wow... nice one! his right arm should be more longuer, and it can bring even more depth to image and drama intensity to the image :)

i loooove the "texture" of this image, darken with dot trame !
