Drama? On DA? I don't believe it.

My my, so much bitching and whining on DA right now. Well... more so than usual, I guess.

Frankly, I've been too busy to really pay attention, but apparently they changed the way deviations make it to the front page? I admit, I haven't really read much other than people throwing a fit, and I can't really tell what's changed. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

Whatever. My stuff has never been on the front page, and that doesn't seem to be changing, so this really doesn't affect me. I have better things to do than proclaim "OMG this iz so unfair I cannot B popular artisttt!!1".

HOWEVER, if someone could please explain the significance of the little "Collect" button at the top, I'd really appreciate it. What's the point of that, exactly?

Personally I don't hold aspirations of making a front page deviation so I don't care. XD
Also: This is the first that I've heard of a change so <shrugs>

I think everybody's confused about that collect thing. XD
I don't care about that change either. Big whoop. =w= It's just numbers again. If you're good, people will find you anyway.

You drag deviations up to it and its a faster way to fave stuff without having to look at the full picture, just the thumbnail

Well, if you go to your favs section it is know editable. You can put artwork into different "collections" just like you can put your artwork into different folders. I guess it is best used if you have any particular favorite artist that you want to make sure others see you can put their work that you favorited into a collection folder.

In addition whenever you see a thumbnail or veiw a particular artwork you can click on the picture, drag it, and place it in a "collection" you have. When you drag it a space will open near the top that shows your collections.

by hitting the collect button it just opens up a thumbnail version of the artwork you are viewing
that you can drag into a collection.

I believe subscribers can also customize there collections with CSS just like they can with the folders in their gallery.

Ah, I see. Thank you for the explanation; I was quite confused.
Still, the collect thing just seems kinda pointless. *shrugs* Maybe I'm just too hard to impress these days.

yeah, but at least you can know put your favorite favorites somewhere were everyone can see. There were a lot of people that wanted that ability.
